Meet Immi Sikand

Immi Sikand, the principal of Sikand Immigration Law, is Certified by the Law Society of Upper Canada as a Specialist in Citizenship and Immigration Law. Immi has worked exclusively in the area of Citizenship and Immigration Law since 1999 and represents a broad range of clientele, including individuals, families, and businesses, providing knowledgeable and efficient legal services in immigration matters.

After working with a large immigration service provider in Canada, Immi knew her clients could better achieve their immigration objectives without paying for the overhead of a large corporate office. Immi is passionate about her clients achieving their individual or business goals and dedicated to providing clients with the legal representation and service they expect and deserve. From the first consultation to the final resolution of each application, as a client you can expect to be in direct communication with Immi Sikand.

In addition to her legal work, Immi believes in the importance of community service. She regularly provides pro bono legal work, has served a Board Member of the Stonegate Community Health Centre in Etobicoke, the South Asian Women’s Centre, as a co-chair/ founder of the South Asian Legal Clinic (Ontario) and as a legal intern at the Zanzibar Legal Services Centre, in Tanzania, Africa, where she co-edited several legal journals.

Immi has completed a B.A. in Honours Economics (Co-op) from Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, Ontario and an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, Ontario. Immi Sikand is licenced to practice law in Ontario, Canada.
